Tyler was called to the Bar in Ontario in 2019. Tyler’s practice focuses on business, technology, and intellectual property law. Tyler also assists his clients in resolving business-related disputes and advises on real estate transactions. Tyler acts as external in-house counsel for his clients by providing advice and services that are tailored to their business objectives. 

Tyler completed his articles of clerkship in the legal department of a Canadian chartered bank. During his time there, Tyler provided legal support to all areas of the bank and was praised by members of its legal department for his legal research and writing abilities. Through his experience there, Tyler developed a keen understanding of the financial system, which enables him to effectively advise his clients on corporate finance matters.

Tyler is a graduate of the Canadian & American Dual Juris Doctor Program at the University of Windsor and University of Detroit Mercy and currently holds licenses to practice law in Ontario and California. Tyler was listed on the Dean’s List in every semester of his law school career and received a CALI Award for achieving the highest grade in Patent Law. Tyler also participated in various legal clinics during law school where he provided pro bono legal services to indigent clients in Metro Detroit. These clinics included the International Patent Clinic, the Trademark and Entrepreneurship Clinic, and the Veterans Law Clinic. 

Before law school, Tyler attended the Ted Rogers School of Management in Toronto where he earned a Bachelor of Commerce. During his undergraduate career, Tyler focused his studies on the intersection of law and business. Tyler also participated in Ryerson’s Law & Business Clinic where he found his passion for advising entrepreneurs. Tyler has established a  US Trademark Service at Garfin Zeidenberg.

When Tyler is not practicing law or working on developing legal technology, he is spending time outdoors. Tyler enjoys biking the city’s trails in the summer and snowboarding in the winter.
